Towing and recovery manufacturer awarded for creative marketing campaign
Hagerstown, MD (September 3, 2015)— Jerr-Dan Corporation, an Oshkosh Corporation Company (NYSE:OSK), and their advertising agency were recently awarded the Platinum level “Hermes Award” for creativity in print media for Jerr-Dan’s “Towmance” marketing campaign.
“Towmance,” a clever play on the slang term “bromance,” is designed to show the close relationship that a tow truck operator has with his truck. It also highlights the features of Jerr-Dan towing and recovery equipment that makes their products dependable, tough, and reliable.

By listening to our customers, we found that they have a love for their trucks that could rival many relationships.” Jeff Soldner, Sr. Director, Marketing & Product Management at Jerr-Dan. “This campaign focuses more on the customer, rather than just the product itself, and we are very proud to have been recognized with this award.”
